Descriptions
The Fuel Shutoff Solenoid is an integral component of an engine's fuel system, designed to control the flow of fuel to the engine. This electromagnetic device operates by either opening or closing the fuel passage based on electrical signals. During normal engine operation, the solenoid allows fuel to flow, facilitating combustion. However, in the event of an emergency and when the engine needs to be shut down, the solenoid responds to electrical signals, cutting off the fuel supply and effectively stopping the engine.
- Quick response time for immediate fuel shutoff.
- Low power consumption for energy efficiency.
- Coil wire temperature rating class H (180 degrees Celsius).
- Designed to withstand vibrations and engine movements.
The Fuel Shutoff Solenoid is located within the fuel delivery system, near the fuel injection system to provide a reliable and rapid means of cutting off the fuel supply to the engine.
